How to manage in-house workplace treatments
Updated: Nov 5, 2020
In-house workplace treatment is growing in momentum since it is directly related to the needs of a modern employee and employer. As you may know, this model requires a lot less investment and low operating cost, while providing a constant flow of new clients (patients).
Advantages of in-house workplace treatments
In-house workplace treatments are more convenient and more affordable;
If managed properly, the in-house workplace treatments can be a net revenue contributor to your practice;
Help you boost patient experience since they save time and money to go from one place to another and often struggle to find an appointment that fits their schedule or is included in their insurance coverage;
You offer the companies a tool for improving employee productivity, attracting new hires, and their retention.
How Kailo responds to this need
We understand the necessity of a dynamic platform that has both the adaptability and dependability to meet the ever-evolving needs of treatment providers and patients. That’s why one of the best traits of Kailo is that it’s versatile and very flexible. Besides its interface made for particular clinics and practices, Kailo can easily adapt to make a big impact when it comes to in-house workplace treatments, visits, and therapies. For example, when some company belongs to a network of clinics, its employees can have an in-house treatment, i.e. the physicians go to the offices of the company. Also, its role-based set-up is optimizing the different parts of the system for the person that is using it, whether is a patient or a physician.
How does it work
Like any other patient, the employees can schedule an appointment or treatment (e.g. physiotherapy, psychology, chiropractic, etc.), the type of treatment (individual or group), and choose the clinic from the list and the physician they want to attend. Patients can see their appointments (upcoming, past, and appointments in a specific date range). They can search for treatments and schedule a new one. Thanks to the automated notification feature, they can confirm, reschedule, or cancel appointments. Also, patients have access to their medical case.
Meanwhile, the treatment provider i.e. the physician can manage his/her appointments just as a normal visit or therapy in a clinic, such as having a calendar view with all the upcoming, past, appointments in a specific date range and filter them by company, booking status, patient, treatment type or specific date range. The treatment provider can see all his/her appointments from all clinics that belong in the same network (with specific restrictions). Physicians have access to all cases where they were once or still are assigned.
We are aware that this kind of healthcare owns unique management needs compared to other healthcare service lines, which can sometimes create obstacles to efficiency for your staff. That’s why we built Kailo based on the feedback of our clients (a network of clinics) in order to exceed the expectations of the patient management system. If you offer in-house workplace therapies, we would like to invite you to see how Kailo can help you streamline your work. Request a demo now.
